Hi! I’m Andia Coral. My art practice is based on the premise that the world will flood as a result of climate change, and giant hermit crabs will become the top predator on Earth.
Through constructed textiles I aim to explore what life is like for the surviving human population, and what it is that they live for. Interrogating what it means to be sheltered (physically and psychically), story telling, and the notion of the anthropocene are all important aspects of my research.
